Muscle Pain and Stiffness

Callum has not only effectively treated any back or muscular pain I have
had, he has also given me tools and knowledge to help prevent recurrences and keep my body more flexible. I greatly appreciate his holistic approach to wellness, and with his help I’ve put together a program that has improved my overall health and quality of life.

I recommend him to anyone who is seeking immediate chiropractic care, but especially to those interested in training their body to be less susceptible to future incidents and improve their overall health.

Acute Crippling Muscles Spasm

Callum is the best chiropractor I cannot recommend his service enough. I use the gym facilities at the Aquadrome on almost a daily basis to free me from the stresses of work. Last week whilst doing some lifts I injured my back. I had to stop right there and lay down. The problem is I couldn’t get back up. So after many minutes of looking a bit silly I picked myself up and went to see the resident back expert. It was coincidence that I heard someone say a few days prior that the aquadrome had it’s own chiropractor so the timing was perfect. I felt much better after the first session but Callum informed me that it would take 4-5 more visits to be back to my good old self. 2 visits later and he signed me off as he’d done everything and I was fine to go back to the gym, but just to take it steady. Thank you Callum the gym is very important to me and without you I would be still laid on that floor.

Chronic Persistent Back Pain

I have been suffering for many years with back problems and tried and tested an endless number of remedies, chiropractors and osteopaths. I can simply say that the treatment received from Callum at Basingstoke Chiropractic is among the very best and most effective I have ever experienced in over 20 years of back problems. I will be for ever deeply grateful to him for all he has done and is still doing for me. I would highly recommend Callum’s treatment to anyone suffering with back problems for his knowledge and ability.

Lower Back Pain.

Whilst serving in the Army I injured my lower back whilst on exercise. The Army doctor advised me to take anti-inflammatory painkillers and to stop running, one of my loves of life! Unimpressed with this diagnosis I visited my local chiropractor (Callum Sibbald) who had been recommended to me for a second opinion. Callum examined me, explained thoroughly what was causing my pain and how we could remove it, carried out an adjustment on my lower back, provided me with an ice pack, demonstrated stretching exercises to ease the pain and gave me the confidence that I would be fully able to run again within two weeks. He was as good as his word. Callum is an excellent chiropractor who I could not recommend enough. He is very approachable and likeable, he listens to your concerns and has a thorough knowledge of both chiropractic and wellness in general. Thank you Callum for keeping me out of pain!

Rotator Cuff Sports Injury

I’ve had a recurring shoulder injury for about five or six years now, which is aggravated when I exercise. I’d received previous treatments from doctors, a physio and an osteopath all with little or no effect. Within the first few weeks of treatment with Callum I noticed significant improvements. Now four months later, by combining the treatment from the chiro sessions with instructions to follow at home, my shoulder’s the strongest it’s ever been. My only complaint being I wish I’d come sooner!

Neck, Shoulder Pain and Migraine Headaches

I had been suffering with neck and shoulder pain, which I have had for a few years. Previously I have had physiotherapy exercises, which were of little help, therefore I decided to try a new approach.

At first I knew little about Chiropractic and believed it to be a treatment for back and neck pain only.

5 weeks later my life started to change quite dramatically, thanks to the care I have received here.

Not only has my neck pain almost been completely resolved, but also dramatic changes have happened.

I have had migraine type headaches several times a week, accompanied often with vomiting for the past three years. Under the care of a neurologist, I had scans and tried different medication, with little success. I had started to accept this as part of my life.

Since starting Chiropractic care, the headaches are significantly less frequent, and I have a lot more energy.

I came in for neck pain, and came away feeling like a whole new person! I cannot emphasise enough how amazing these changes have been.

Neck Pain and Headaches

My initial reason for choosing chiropractic care was due to neck pain after playing sport resulting in headaches and pain behind left eye and ear.

I no longer have head, eye or ear pain, and only occasional muscle pain in my neck. I have continually participated in sport throughout my care.

Since I began care I have noticed an improvement in my general comfort and well-being.

I do tell others about what chiropractic care has done for me and that it provides far more benefits than just easing and curing pain.

Lower Back Pain

For approximately six years I have had a constant dull ache in my lower back that very rarely goes away.

After two months of chiropractic care the pain has now disappeared.

It feels as if something is missing, but it is definitely something I don’t want to have return.

Lower Back Pain, Buttock Pain and Leg Pain

My back was very stiff. I had restricted movement like bending and twisting. I had pain running down my buttocks into the inside of both my legs. Now my back is much more flexible and the pain reduced.

I still have some problems but for several days I have been pain free and have felt well, which has not happened for several years.

I am continuing chiropractic care and hope that the good days will increase in number.

Debilitating Back Pain

I’d been getting back pain for some three years, nothing drastic as it would last maybe a day or two, and it was just an ache, besides I’m only 34 and you don’t get bad backs at that age do you?

14 months ago the pain would last for 3 days at a time . A year ago the pain started and didn’t go away. This wasn’t just pain, it was a disability. I couldn’t dress myself; socks, trousers, shoes became my wife’s job. I couldn’t even lift my hands up to wash my hair and a bath was out of the question. I could only shower with the help of my wife.

Driving was also an awful experience, pains shooting here, there, and everywhere. Getting out of the car after a 10-minute journey took 5 minutes.

The time had come to act. I got an appointment here through a friend, and from my very first adjustment, I could see that Chiropractic was going to help me.

Within the first two weeks there was a dramatic difference in my lifestyle and within 8 weeks I was almost back to normal. After that you don’t really notice the subtle changes until one day you realize all the pains are gone and you aren’t limping anymore.

Chronic Fibromyalgia Pain.

I first started going to see Callum in 2010 with what I class as chronic back pain. I was unable to stand or sit upright and walking was very slow and painful. I had been to the hospital who only gave me very strong pain killers that just made me sleep (and having 3 children and a husband that wasn’t very practical).
My husband had booked a series of Osteopathy appointments for me in the hope that they would help but, unfortunately they didn’t help. So he looked into chiropractors in our local area, and found Callum. Working with Callum has been amazing, not only has he helped me physically, but he has given me home care advice to manage symptoms at home.
I still see Callum occasionally and still find it very beneficial. I recommend to everyone that I speak to that has a bad back, to see Callum, as he is very knowledgeable, not just in his field but, also about vitamins that will aid the body to heal itself. By applying these things plus faith, will help restore you to optimum health.
